This committee helps develop programs to involve the union in the community and to join in coalitions with other organizations in support of worthwhile causes. They are also involved in programs aimed to help the less fortunate such as United Way, blood drives, and many other community efforts. In addition, they play an important role during a strike.

We have relationships with the following constituency groups. These groups are made up of union members chartered by the AFL-CIO as well as organizations in the community, civil rights, community and leaders.
