President Gibson - Called meeting to order

Roll call of Officers all present except B. Arujo

President Gregg W. Gibson - presented to the Board CWA convention DVD

re: Protecting Voting rights, renew the VRA

2007 planners were distributed additional convention material was distributed to all Board members who did not attend.

President Gregg W. Gibson – reported on convention covered various votes at previous convention 1990 & 1995 – were cap was removed from members relief fund.

President Gregg W. Gibson – also reviewed actions and resolution passed at convention.

Judy RaPue - Secretary Treasurer - Finance Report:

General Account: 2806.66

Saving Account: 2555.32

Payroll Account: 6855.46

CD: 14252.27

M/S/D EVP Debbie Wilson – that the Board be provided LTW & mileage vouchers and credit card bills and receipts at each Board meeting.

President Gregg W. Gibson – Thanked everyone for participating in job actions at all the yards.

President Gregg W. Gibson – reported on the following correspondences:

• Verizon Rally Speech were done today at several of our Local locations. Local Officers participated

• National Buried Service Wire Group contract is available for all Board members to review.

• T-Mobile conference call tomorrow at 2pm

• Thank you from – Long Beach – Women Shelter

• Thank you from – Anita Fontaine – for flowers & Bible for the death of her Mother

• SCC – Stewards Conference is Friday September 22, 2006 thru 24^th in Anaheim, Calif. Need to decide who to send

M/S/C EB – Beaman to send (1) person to the California Labor Fed. 26^th Biennial convention July 25 & 26, 2006 Los Angeles at a cost of $790.00

• Verizon – Reminder to re look at JPD agreements with management

• On loan their will be 5 RCMAC & 10 VRRC employees on loan to the FSC

• Survey count – results are as follows:

Lancaster 34 – total percent 54%

Central 78 – total percent 22%

Northern None

Southern 109 – total percent 32%

Ocean 103 – total percent 21%
