The Bylaws Committee

The function of this committee is to set the parameters that you Local will follow. We must always stay in accordance with the bylaws that the C.W.A. National Union has set up.

We recommend additions/deletions to the existing bylaws each time the structure of the Local changes. The members at our regular membership meeting must vote on all additions/deletions the committee recommends.

The bylaws committee gets its objectives as stated in Article III in the current bylaws (as printed below).

Article III-object

The objectives of Local 9586 shall be to represent and serve the workers within its jurisdiction in accordance with the Bylaws and Rules of the Local and the Constitution and policies of the National Union. This Local shall adhere to all policies, programs and objectives as set forth by the Convention.
