NOTICE OF PROPOSED BYLAWS CHANGES

 

 

The Local’s Bylaws Committee has proposed, and the Executive Board has recommended unanimously the following bylaws changes to be voted on at a Special Membership Meeting at the Local:

Article VII – Governing Authority

 

Replace Section 2 – Executive Board: The Local Executive Board shall consist of the following: President, Executive Vice President, Vice Presidents-three (3), Secretary/Treasurer, Area Vice President “Lancaster”, one Executive board Member from each of the following areas: Northern, Central, Southern, Ocean and Westec/Edison.

With the following:  The Local Executive Board shall consist of the following: President, Executive Vice President, Vice Presidents-two (2), Secretary/Treasurer, Area Vice President “Lancaster”, one Executive Board Member from each of the following areas: Northern, Central, Southern, Ocean and ADT.

Article XIV – Nomination and Election of Local Officers and Members of the Executive Board.

B.     The Nomination of a person for the Office of President, Executive Vice President, all Vice Presidents and Secretary-Treasurer shall also constitute the Nomination of that person as a delegate to C.WA. Conventions during the term for which the election is being conducted, in accordance with Article IX, Section A of these Bylaws. Nominations and elections for the offices of Vice Presidents will be numbered ONE throughTHREE (1-3).  The sequence of numberings is for election identification purpose ONLY, all Vice Presidents will have equal standing.

Only expenses incurred by the Election Committee will be paid for the Local.
